First, the bodysuit went viral on TikTok for how it synched the waist. Then, the dress made waves for its flattering silhouette. If there’s one thing we know for sure about Skims: they know their shapewear.

As well as fashion and shapewear, they also specialise in underwear garments, and we weremost interested in the bras. The dresses and bodysuits have been getting all the hype, so do the bras measure ip in the same way?

Skims bras have garnered attention online for how inclusive their size and colour range are, so over the past few years, we've been testing various styles, including best-sellers and new bras as they drop.

How we tested these Skims bras

Hattie Parish
Some of the Skims bras we tested

Various members of the WH team, with cup sizes spanning A-F, tested the bras in this article. We wore each of them several times and assessed them on how comfortable they were to wear, whether or not the shoulder straps dug in, if they offered enough support, how they looked under clothes, and how much coverage the cups provided. Those with larger busts paid particular attention to support and bounce, and those with smaller chests assessed whether push-up styles helped create lift and shape while remaining comfortable.

We also washed them all a couple of times, so we were able to see whether they held their shape and maintained the same level of comfort after going through a wash cycle.

Pros

  • Soft, comfortable and lightweight

Cons

  • May not offer enough support for larger busts

Most of the Skims bras have comfort and functionality at the core of their design, which, while excellent, doesn't always lend itself to making the sexiest underwear. This bra combines the qualities that make Skims great with a fun, flirty design that is still extremely flattering.

I tend to steer clear from lace bras for everyday wear as I can find the material to be a little itchy, but this one has super soft cups and just a fine lace trim that means you can barely feel the lace while you're wearing it. It's comfortable and lightweight with an underwire that doesn't dig in and a breathable fabric, giving a weightless feel. The slightly plunged design looks great under low-cut tops and flatters the girls, not to mention that gorgeous lace trim.

When my Unlined Scoop Bra (above) is in the wash, this is my second favourite Skims bra to wear out and about. It's slightly heavier than the Scoop bra but definitely still light, and has fuller cups so it's good if you want a bra with more coverage.

The bra looks great under T-shirts because of the full-coverage cups, and there's little to no boob overspill. The bra has been designed to fit between sizes, which is ideal for people like me who have boobs that blow up a whole size before my period.

It's also currently available in a Desert Leopard Print design, which we're in love with.

Pros

  • Adjustable straps
  • Contours to your body
  • Very soft and comfortable
  • Sticky strip on the underband keeps it in place
  • Ruching for shape and support

Cons

  • Size up one or two sizes for a better fit

I wanted something comfy for my WFH/pre-menstrual days, and this fits the bill perfectly. In fact, I regularly wear it out because it's that comfortable. Straight out the box, it looks insanely small, but trust the process – although I got my usual (XS) and I think a small might have suited me better. That said, it's incredibly stretchy, and once on, moulds to your body for incredible comfort and support that feels soft and non-restrictive.

As well as adjustable straps, which you don't always see on bralettes, there's ruching for shape and support, plus a tacky strip on the inside of the band that helps keep it in place. The material is super soft and breathable, and while I can't personally attest to the support for larger busts, it was excellent for me at a 32A, and reviewers with larger cup sizes have also sung its praises. A top pick for off-duty days.

Pros

  • Gives a subtle lift
  • Seamless design
  • Smooth under clothes
  • Comfortable for all-day wear

Cons

  • Not the sexiest design
  • Not as size inclusive as some other styles

Being on the smaller side, I'm a big fan of this bra. It has all the benefits of a push-up without the discomfort often associated with padded styles. It offers lift and support that feels wearable day-to-day, rather than a full-on push up you might save for date night (see the Teardrop Push Up below).

From my experience it's true to size, sitting smoothly against skin and under clothing (including tight T-shirts). Like I said, the boost is certainly there but is more subtle than some other push-up styles, and this, combined with how comfortable it is and the good support it offer, makes it my go-to daily bra. The plunge style means you can wear it with lower-cut tops too.

Pros

  • Adds a cup size
  • Gives a natural-looking lift
  • Smooth under clothes

Cons

  • Runs small
  • May be too much padding for some

Said to add a cup size and known colloquially as the 'boob job in a bra' the Ultimate Teardrop Push-Up is Skims' most padded bra, with the brand's maximum lift. Our A-cup tester was seriously impressed by the boost it gave, creating cleavage even when there's very little work with, but maintaining a natural shape. That said, she found it ran small and had to switch for a cup size up than her usual to avoid spillage over the top of the cups.

Speaking of the cups, they offer a lot less coverage than the Push-Up Plunge (above), meaning you can wear super low-cut tops, but may not suit those who like more coverage. While this bra is underwired, it's fairly comfortable (there are certainly more comfy options on this list) and the wire isn't noticeable. It sits flush against skin (when the fit is correct) and the band is seamless, for a smooth silhouette under clothes.

While the Weightless Demi Bra is my go-to when I'm out and about, the Naked Scoop Bralette is what I always go for if I'm having a lazy day or working from home.

The bra is supportive but still extremely comfortable, with no underwire, a buttery-soft material and wide straps that never dig in. The V-shape flatters large chests and it has removable cups and a supportive back and sides so although it isn't wired you never feel like you're going to spill out of it.

Cons

  • May not offer enough support for larger cup sizes

This bra received mixed reviews from our testers. Our 32DD gal loves it, while our 44F tester found it didn't offer enough support. Both found that the sizing was off, because while it's underwired, the cups are made from very stretchy material, so it's worth sizing down to ensure boobs stay where they're meant to. This way, you also avoid over-tightening the straps, which can result in the underwire digging in.

Both praised the super smooth material and our larger-busted tester found it was comfortable enough for lounging around the house – but she wouldn't run for the bus in it. The shape works well under low-cut tops and if you get the fit right, it is very comfortable; it just might take a bit of trial and error.

Anyone with big boobs knows the struggle of trying to find a good strapless bra, and unfortunately, this one isn't up for the challenge. While I think this would be a dream for smaller chests, the unlined cups and small back strap were no match for my melons.

If I didn't wear it with the accompanying straps it would slip down, and if I did wear it with the straps it dug in a little uncomfortably on the side. It has a soft, smoothing material so it is quite sexy, but I wouldn't recommend it on a day you need support.

Pros

  • Super soft
  • Barely-there feel
  • Inclusive size range

Cons

  • Not enough support for large busts
  • Sheer material not ideal for day-to-day
Colours available11
Size rangeCups: A-H, Band: 32-46

Let's start with the positives: the material of this bra is possibly the softest I've ever felt on a bra, and when I'm wearing it it feels like I've got nothing on.

The downside of this, however, is that it doesn't offer the level of support I need with a large chest and the underwire does dig in a little bit more than the others despite being the same size. The material is so sheer that if it's a cold day it doesn't offer much in the way of disguising your nipples, so I wouldn't recommend it for going into the office.

The sheerness is very sexy though, so I'd recommend it for a date night or any other occasion where you want your boobs to look incredible.

Which Skims bra is the best?

According to our Ecommerce Editor Jess, who wears a 32DD, 'If I could only wear one Skims bra for the rest of my life, it would have to be the Unlined Scoop Bra – it’s the perfect combination of comfortable and flattering. The Naked Plunge Longline Bra would be a close second, however, and this is always the bra I wear when I want to be as comfortable as possible.'

Jess has now been wearing Skims bras for over two years and despite many spins in the washing machine, they have all held their shape and are just as comfortable to wear now as the day she got them.

FAQs

How to wash a Skims bra

How you go about washing your Skims bra depends on which one you’re washing, but the same thing applies to all of them: cold water only.

The Weightless Demi Bra, No Show Molded Unlined Balconette Bra, and Naked Plunge Bra all need to be hand washed, while the Fits Everybody T-Shirt Bra, Fits Everybody Corded Lace Underwire Bra and Ultra Fine Mesh Strapless Bra can be machine washed on a gentle cycle.

How do I figure out my Skims bra size?

If you're not sure of your size you can use Skims' bra size calculator here. They also have a handy bra size converter table that you can use to figure out what size you'd wear in Skims based on your current size.

Are Skims bras true to size?

In my experience with Skims the fit depends on which bra you're wearing. The majority were a perfect fit, with a little bit of overspill if my boobs are swollen.

The more sexy bras, like the Fits Everybody Corded Lace Underwire Bra felt slightly smaller than the more casual bras, but this could be down to the underwire and subsequent lack of flexibility.

Who owns Skims?

Skims is a shapewear and clothing company launched in 2019 that was valued at $5 billion in November 2025. The business was founded by multi-hyphenate Kim Kardashian and her serial entrepreneur business partners, Emma Grede and Jens Grede.

Is Skims worth it?

There’s no denying Skims is more expensive than some other underwear brands on the market. However, in my experience, you get what you pay for and the quality speaks for itself.

If you have a larger chest, however, I would recommend reading through this review to make sure the bra will offer you the level of support you need.
