Her daughter has only just turned one, but Michelle Keegan doesn’t betray any sign of sleepless nights. She’s just revealed the results of her incredible skin transformation, posing virtually bare-faced in a radiant new selfie – and saying her complexion has been given ‘a new lease of life’.
The Our Girl actress’s makeover was shared on Instagram by her facialist, Nilam Holmes, who was thrilled to share Michelle’s glowing review. In the caption, Nilam shares her happy client’s feedback: ‘My skin has a new lease of life thanks to my girl Nilam Holmes @nilamholmesclinics.’
At 38, Michelle is looking incredibly fresh-faced and youthful, despite a busy life juggling her career with being mum to daughter, Palma. Her revived glow is all thanks to what Nilam describes as a ‘tailor-made’ approach to skincare treatment.
‘I’ve been looking after Michelle for a very long time now and people are always asking me about her skin regime,’ Nilam reveals. ‘Michelle is a new mum with a busy filming schedule so time is often tight, and even though I only see her 3-4 times a year, she has always been consistent with what we do.’
Nilam has helpfully broken down exactly what’s involved in Michelle’s luminous mummy makeover, telling her followers, ‘As with all my clients, we always do a combination of treatments, often including RF [radiofrequency] and laser devices, that I design on the day depending on what concerns are present.’
For Michelle’s most recent visit, Nilam used a combination of Collagenwave and Hydrafacial (her signature ‘Dermalux’ treatment) for glow, followed by Alma Harmony ClearLift laser and Lumecca IPL to target pigmentation. ‘The lasers are the main treatments that clear sun damage and uneven pigmentation, giving a smooth, even complexion,’ Nilam explains.

The full combination takes around 2.5 hours at Nilam’s Milton Keynes Dermaspa, costing approximately £475.
Michelle’s glow sparked immediate envy in the comments section: ‘I need this skin’ and ‘looks flawless’ summing up the mood. However, Nilam notes that anyone who wants a similar package would need to have a full consultation to assess their suitability.
‘It’s essential to make sure clients are suitable for laser treatments, especially when addressing pigmentation or sun damage,’ says Nilam. ‘It really is tailor made to each person and definitely not a “one treatment suits all” situation.’
Luckily, the Dermalux combination of Hydrafacial and CollagenWave is suitable for most people, she says. There’s no downtime, it’s ideal ahead of a big event, and is great ‘if you are wanting to get an instant glow that keeps working.’
